Hello there. Welcome to my new blog.

My name is Brian Teeter. I’m a father of 1, husband of 26+ years and a life long entrepreneur having founded many sometimes successsful companies. I live in Clearwater Beach, FL with my wife, son and our 4 lovely kitties!

I currently own two businesses Crucial Solutions LLC – a software consultancy, and Unique Fine Gems LLC our online Jewelry and Gemstone store. I am also a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson working with Florida Capital Realty. I use my license primarily for our family Real Estate investments, but I do offer services to friends and family from time to time.

I am mostly known in industry for being a software engineer/architect.

I’ve been writing code for more than 40 years, and more than 28 professionally. I am starting to actively contribute to open source and have open sourced my own code recently.

I tend to build web applications, but over the years I’ve built more than 50 mobile apps, traditional desktop apps, server side processes, old school mainframe integrations, 2D and 3D games, and lots of web applications and web sites.

I enjoy working with computers and enjoy teaching people about computers and all we can do with them. I also love learning about technology. Just in my lifetime alone the technological leaps the world has made have been amazing and fascinating and I love to learn about them.

I plan to share what I know, what I’ve screwed up, and most importantly what I’ve learned in my life here on this site. I may also talk about my work or business ventures. But know what’s written here is my own opinion and doesn’t necessarily reflect the opinions of those I work for.
