New 3D Virtual Pool Web Game

For years, I’ve had this idea sitting in the back of my mind: could I build a true-to-life game of pool (billiards) that runs entirely in the browser? Not a flat 2D version. Not a gimmick. A real, physics-based, 3D experience that feels right.

It always stayed on my “someday” list.

Why? Because building realistic ball physics, cue control, camera movement, collision detection, and a playable 3D environment from scratch is no small task. Between work, projects, and life, it never quite made it to the top of the queue.

But times have changed.

Actual in game screen shot. Art style is a work in progress.

With the help of modern AI agents accelerating development, I finally brought it to life — and honestly, it was way more achievable than I expected.

The game is still early in development, but it’s already fully functional and completely free to play. You get full 3D graphics, real-time physics, smooth ball collisions, and a clean (if slightly primitive) environment that lets you focus on lining up the perfect shot.

If you’ve ever wanted to break a rack right in your browser — no downloads, no installs — now’s your chance.

🎱 Give it a spin and let me know what you think:
