Announcing TANK WARFARE — My Modern Web Based Homage to Scorched Earth

If you grew up in the MS-DOS era—or just appreciate timeless PC classics—you might remember the legendary artillery game Scorched Earth: tanks, angles, power meters, wind that always betrayed you, and weapons ranging from tiny missiles to planet-killing nukes.

Today, I’m excited to announce my own tribute to that experience.

❤️ Why I Built It

Scorched Earth was one of the first PC games that made me fall in love with computers. Its simplicity, paired with endless replayability, made it unforgettable. Plus it had all sorts of fun, goofy and interesting weapons and things. TANK WARFARE is my attempt to recapture that feeling—nostalgic, chaotic, and endlessly fun. This time its online and free for anyone!

If you try it out, I’d love feedback — bugs, feature ideas, crazy weapon concepts, anything. There is a feedback mechanism right in the game menu.

More polish and more weapons are already in the pipeline.

Enjoy the explosions! 💥🔥
