Creating High-Quality Virtual Tours: Patent Issued

I’m happy to belatedly report that the 3rd US patent has been issued!

This patent focuses on the creation of virtual tours. It goes back to my very early work with Threshold360. The company focuses on capturing, creating, and delivering amazingly high quality virtual tours. These tours serve businesses, entertainment venues, restaurants, and more. They are provided across the United States.

During the early days of the company, I helped solve many initial challenges. These included capturing large photos on anemic camera and phone hardware. Then, I used meta data to assemble tours based on the images captured. Their locations, orientations, and more were considered. This very early work set the ground work for what became this invention and patent.

I’m proud of the work that was done, and I’m happy to see this patent finally be issued! If you’re curious and want to read more, check here:
